Popular Nigerian comedian, Princess Adekoya, has reacted after the sentencing of Popular Nigerian actor, Baba Ijesha, Amebo9ja report.

Remember that Princess’ adopted daughter was molested by Baba Ijesha and he was subsequently charged to court after a video where he was seen molesting the child circulated online. Baba Ijesha was subsequently found guilty of four charges and he was sent to jail.
Princess Adekoya spoke to a journalist regarding the details of all that transpired between him and Baba Ijesha after he was caught on camera as he molested the child. According to Princess, Baba Ijesha pleaded with her to forgive him and even went as far as offering her bribe on several occasions. Princess revealed that she refused to take Baba Ijesha’s money because she believed that he should pay for what he has done.

According to Princess, after Baba Ijesha saw that the bribe he offered did not work, he decided to meet with some senior colleagues in the movie industry that he knew that Princess would listen to if they pleaded on his behalf. Princess Adekoya noted that so many people pleaded with her to forgive Baba Ijesha and to also conceal the whole issue but she could not do so.

Princess Adekoya went on to disclose that after Baba Ijesha was caught, he went as far as pleading with her to let him kill himself. However, Princess Adekoya refused to let him kill himself because he had to pay for his crime. Princess said that she made the best decision by revealing to the world what Baba Ijesha did to her daughter.

According to Princess, things could have turned out worse if she went outside and called on her neighbors to beat Baba Ijesha up. She also said that she would have been arrested and charged with murder if she had decided to angrily descend on Baba Ijesha and stab him immediately she caught him. Princess maintained that allowing the law court decide what Baba Ijesha’s faith would be was the best decision.
