Bet Awards 2018: See Full List Of Winners

Host Jamie Foxx took things up a notch as he hosted the 2018 edition of BET Awards. The actor started off the ceremony by letting the audience/viewers know that he came to celebrate, firstly by bringing out “Black Panther” star Michael B. Jordan to the stage and requesting that he should recite the powerful line from the film, “Bury me in the ocean with my ancestors who jumped from ships, cause they knew death was better than bondage.”

Also,Foxx invited Childish Gambino on stage to thank him for his socially conscious song, “This Is America.”

A lot more memorable moments includes,  Rapper Meek Mill debuting a new single since being released from prison in April titled, “Stay Woke,” which explores inequality in the justice system and when Tyler Perry presented Anita Baker with the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Foxx sang a medley of her greatest hits.
