“Continue Resting Okor Mi” – Olori Abbey grieves as she marks 5months remeberance of the Late Alaafin of Oyo

Olori Abbey, one of the wives of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi is grieving the loss of the monarch, Amebo9ja report.

Amebo9ja reported in April that the Alaafin of Oyo, Lamidi Adeyemi, died at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti in April.

The remains of the top Yoruba traditional ruler were brought to Oyo in the early hours of Saturday, and traditional rites began.The late monarch was 83 years old and the longest-reigning Alaafin, having ruled for 52 years.

Marking his 5months remeberance, Olori Abbey shared photos of her with the Alaafin’s frame.

She wrote ;

Five months Gone. May Almighty Allah continue to be pleased with your Soul Okomi Atanda Morodiya’Omo ADENIRAN”.
