Nigerian rapper, Falz has reacted to the circumstance that led to the death of a female corps member.
Linda Angela Igwetu, who was meant to pass out today July 5th, was shot dead by a trigger-happy policeman in Abuja.
Linda was out celebrating her passing ou with her friends when the policeman shot the car she was in. She sustained gunshot wound and was rushed to Garki hospital but the hospital refused to treat her because there was no police report authorizing them to treat her gunshot wound. She then bled to death.
Confirming the incident, Police spokesman, Anjuguri Manzah, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), said that the command was investigating the incident.
Reacting to the sad development, Falz, who is also a trained lawyer, took to his Twitter page to state that no hospital has the right to deny even a suspected armed robber treatment.
He wrote, “This country ehn. I really don’t grab. Sigh.
