Forbes Unveil List Of Highest Earning Artists Of The Decade
As the year 2019 is drawing to a close, so too is the decade.
As such, there’s an influx of End Of lists. And the latest comes courtesy of Forbes, who have unveiled the tally of highest earning music artists of the decade.

Combining gross income earned from music sales, touring, endorsements, investments, and other ventures, the likes of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, and Dr. Dre all feature.

Interestingly, the the feature notes that Michael Jackson “would be #1” with a colossal $2.37 billion if posthumous earnings were factored in.
With the King of Pop passing away a year before the start of the decade, his Estate have served as a textbook example of how to maximise a legacy. Indeed, via ventures such as DVDs, TV specials, Broadway musicals, licensing, and now a big screen biopic, they’ve kept Michael Jackson mania Moonwalking with momentum into the coming decade.
