Futo Disband Military Students and Man-O-War commands

The management of the federal university of technology owerri (Futo) has released an official memo to disband all the military student and man-O-war commands in the university.

According to one of the statement it reads;

The management of the federal university of technology owerri (FUTO) has disbanded futo man o’ war commands with immediate effect. This is as a result of unlawful activities of members of the command for the past one year, which is contrary to university regulations and the mandate of establishing futo man o’ war command…

Among the allegations are bullying of fellow students, detention of students, extortion of money from students, secret involvement in cult activities on campus and intimidation of students.
