Kunle Afolayan is a popular Nollywood actor, producer, director and television personality.
Kunle Afolayan was born on the 30th of September 1974 in Ebutemetta, Lagos, Nigeria to late Adeyemi Josiah Afolayan, who was also a popular Nollywood theatre and film director, and producer. He had his early education and growing up in Lagos State, although, he hails from Igbomina, Kwara State, Nigeria.
Just a reminder incase you have forgotten, Afolayan family begins, of course with Adeyemi Afolayan, but many know him as Ade Love, the famous and, unfortunately, deceased Nigerian actor. Kunle’s aunt Toyin Afolayan has also graced the television screens with her presence on more than one occasion, most notably, as Lola Idijde.
Adeyemi Afolayan (also known as Ade Love) was a Nigerian film actor, director and producer. He is the brother of actress Toyin Afolayan as well as father to film actors, Kunle Afolayan, Tayo Afolayan, Gabriel Afolayan, Moji Afolayan and Aremu Afolayan.
In 1966, Afolayan joined Moses Olaiya’s drama troupe, in 1971, he left to establish his own drama group which went on to stage comedic plays.
In 1976, he appeared in Ola Balogun’s Ajani Ogun and later produced and starred Ija Ominira, also directed by Balogun. Kadara, also called Destiny in English was the first movie he wrote, produced and also starred as leading actor. The movie was shown at the ninth Tashkent film festival for African and Asian cinema. Afolayan went on to produce and star in other productions such as Ija Orogun, Taxi Driver and Iya ni Wura.

Aremu Afolayan is happily married to his lovely wife Kafilat Olayinka Quadri and the marriage is blessed with a daughter named Iyunade Afolayan.
The wedding was held in Abuja with his friends and important figures across the country.
However, some members of his family were said to have stayed away from the wedding, the reason being that they were not happy with him over his choice of wife.
Gabriel Afolayan, (born on the 1st of March 1985) also known by his musical stage name G-Fresh, is a Nigerian actor and singer.
He studied Theatre Arts at University of Ibadan. As an actor, he won the Best Supporting Actor award for playing “Tavier Jambari” in Hoodrush (2012). As a musician, he is known mostly for “Awelewa” and “Kokoro Ife”. he stated that his music career started in 1997, while he was part of a group in Ibadan. He also stated that he has always been part of the choir.

Kunle had his primary and secondary education and later obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He worked as a banker before making a career in acting.
He made a remarkable success in the entertainment industry and called it quit in what people will call exhautic bank job to become full time film maker. He went for a course at the New York Film Academy in the United States of America.
Since then, he has made a good progress in Nollywood and produced and directed a number of movies in Nigeria, some of which include The Figurine Araromine in Yoruba and English, Phone Swap and others alongside veterans in the industry like Joke Silva, Wale Ojo, Ramsey Noah, Nse Ikpe Etim and Chika Ikpala widely known as Zeburudaya.

The 42-year-old Kunle Afolayan has been married for many years to a beautiful woman named Tolulope Afolayan. Together, they have four kids: two of them are girls (Darasimi and Eyiyemi) and two are boys (Darimisire and Diekoloreoluwa).
They live in a beautiful house in Magodo. As for his religious views, he does not identify with any existing religion and considers himself a free thinker.

2011, Kunle and Zeb Ejiro represented Nigeria Movie Industry (Nollywood) at the Subversive Film festival, where they received Nollywood Global Award as the number two largest movie industry in World ranking in 2009.
A strong anti-pirate, who believes that a hard working and successful individual should reap the fruit of his labour. He demonstrated this in 2015 when he posted in tweet accusing the Ibos as the dominant copy rights hubs in Nigeria.
This comment did not go down well with Kunle who had to apologize especially to the Ibos who saw it as unfounded accusation. He defended this by saying he was only trying to guide against piracy which was a major problem in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
