My next album may be my last, says Olamide as he is set to drop his newest 2022 album which is 95% ready.
Olamide Adedeji, a well-known Nigerian rapper, has stated that his upcoming album, Unruly, may be his last.
Olamide revealed this in a tweet on Saturday, when he claimed that the album is 95 percent complete.
Taking to his verified Twitter profile, the rapper stated that, while he is unsure of the album’s release date, he is working hard to make it “the best ever.”
Olamide indicated that, while ‘Unruly’ may be his final album, he would release singles whenever he feels like it.
His tweet read “Next Album = #Unruly 95% ready. Release date = I don’t know.
“Taking my time to make it the best ever, probably my last album.
“Although I’ll drop singles once in a blue moon when I feel like it. It has been a mad ass run; giving albums back to back.”
Olamide released his last album, Uy Scuti, in June 2021.
The rapper’s debut album ‘Rapsodi’ was released in 2011 and has since continued to drop at least one album every year.
So far, Olamide has released nine studio albums, two collaborative albums and has recorded hit songs.
