The newly appointed Service Chief met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential Villa On Wednesday 27 January 2021.
The Special Advisor on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari, among others, were also present at the meeting.
The meeting was held behind closed-doors at the nation’s seat of power
Although the reason for the meeting was kept untold.

The new service chiefs include Maj Gen LEO Irabor as the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Maj Gen I Attahiru as Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Rear Admiral A Z Gambo as Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), and AVM I O Amao as Chief of Air Staff (CAS).
