Rudeboy OR Mr P Who Is Winning As Solo Artiste?

Its a year now since continental hit makers and music duo Psquare went separate ways as solo artistes. Peter Okoye goes by the name Mr P while his brother prefers to be called Rudeboy.

About this time, last year September 2017, due to irreconcilable internal crisis within the group mostly related to family issues,Peter Okoye (Mr P) reached out to the group’s lawyer Festus Keyamo (SAN) seeking a termination of his contract as a member of Psquare. Also, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) had confirmed the split with a cryptic message saying he ‘cannot stop now’ signalling he too has gone solo.

Rudeboy OR Mr P aka psquare Who Is Winning As Solo Artiste?

The defunct Psquare members moved on with their individual record labels P Classic & Rudeboy Records respectively.

Shortly after going solo, Mr P gets a music distribution deal with a foreign music company Empire then proceeds to dish out his own singles. For Rudeboy after getting his act together some months later he goes on to dish two new debut singles.

Since the parties ways, things have not been the same for Mr P and Rudeboy. They don’t command as much influence as the used to while they were known as Psquare. As solo artistes the brothers can’t shutdown/sell out big arenas and stadia as they used to, the big numbers on YouTube tanked and just maybe show paychecks perhaps have dwindled too.

Mr P has had ‘For My Head’, ‘My Way’, ‘Look Into My Eye’, ‘Ebaeno‘ and recently ‘Wokie Wokie‘. Rudeboy released ‘Fire Fire’, ‘Nkenji Keke‘, ‘Is Allowed’, ‘Ifai‘, and ‘Reality‘ as solo artistes.

Taking into accounts their solo run for about the past 12 months, between Mr P and his brother Rudeboy who is winning since going solo? Who has had the biggest singles among them?
