Details/Takeaway: In 2018. he released the smash hit single, ‘Wetin We Gain,’ that both documents pressures to make money and seemed to pile pressure on young Nigerian men. Later he released two more singles, one of them is ‘Emoji,’ which dropped in 2019. The song uses emojis to tell stories of a crooked emotional stage.

On the EP, Victor AD says, “I might appear ugly on the outside but trust me I am very pretty within. Let all the scars and the struggles you’ve been through motivate you. Have no fear #REDEYEtheEP!”

The EP documents the artist’s stories of hurt and emotional scar tissues, but he refuses to let the scars define him.
