Wizkid & DJ Tunez In Trouble As Tony Tetuila And Tic Tac Demand Over N31m For Copyright
Starboy boss together with star DJ Tunes dropped a song sometime ago called “Gbese” with some of Tony Tetuila’s “Fefe Ne Efe” verses sung my Wizkid on the track.
The plaintiffs representing the older artistes disclosed this in an Interview on Hitz FM Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty.
According to the plaintiffs, Wizkid failed to acknowledge them for sampling their song,much less pay for it.
They seek damages of over N31m and 35% of digital sales and royalties received by Wizkid and DJ Tunez from the song.
