Award-winning Nigerian Singer-songwriter, Oluwatobiloba Daniel, known professionally as Kizz Daniel, has allegedly been arrested in Tanzania for failing to perform at a concert organised in the country, Amebo9ja report.
Fans who had gathered at the venue of his show after paying as high as $5,000 (Five Thousand Dollars) grew irate after he refused to show up.
Viral videos showed them reacting in rage as they damaged properties in anger and trashed the place because their favourite artiste was a no show.
According to reports, Kizz Daniel was scheduled to perform at the Warehouse, Old Nextdoor Arena in Tanzania, on Sunday night as part of his Afro Classic World Tour.
Following the fracas and outrage, the singer, it was learnt got arrested by the Tanzanian police.
A series of new videos circulating online captured the ‘Buga’ crooner being led into a police vehicle while dressed in a hooded jacket.
An angry fan could be heard in the background saying; “You will go in for it. You’ve caused damage in this country. I warned you yesterday.”

Kizz is yet to release an official statement on the matter, yet fans have already taken to social media to lambast him.

The latest development from Kizz Daniel is the third ‘no show’ in four weeks.
It may be recalled that on 7th of July, fans sent him off stage when he showed up late after standing them up for about five hours before performing in DMV.
The third was his concert in Denver, USA which had been also abruptly cancelled on July 28.
