Talented Nigerian Singer Rema ‘renames’ music genre to ‘Afrorave’
He describes it as a “sub genre of Afrobeat”.
“My sound y’all called Indian, everybody doing it now,’ he said. He then went on to reveal his new style of music. “From this day my sound will be called “Afrorave” a sub-genre of Afrobeat, my Album seals this claim for good.”
The young talent who is signed to Mavin Records, has made a statement in the music industry.
His first EP ‘REMA’ was welcomed with open arms. He played to the conscience of the younger generation who easily accepted the young lad.
He has released hit single such as; Dumebi, Ginger Me, Beamer, Corny to mention a few.
This year he released another hit single ‘Bounce’ which was produced by label CEO, Don Jazzy.
