Nigeria’s fine music export, Burna Boy, has set a record by being the first Afrobeats artiste to sell out “The SSE Arena” formerly referred to as ‘Wembly Arena‘ in the UK.
The ‘Ye’ singer was given the award on the 3rd of November 2019, after selling out the arena. Word is, there was an overflow of fans outside the arena who came to vibe with the singer.
The SSE Arena happens to be the second largest indoor arena after the O2 Arena and also the ninth largest in the entire UK.
Burna Boy joins his counterparts; Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage to sell-out popular UK Arena’s. This is proof, the Nigerian vibe as well as Africa’s is well recognized and accepted all over the globe.
Burna, yet again, won big at the 2019 edition of MTV EMA. The singer clinched the ‘Best African Act’.
This is surely Burna’s year!
