Njamah was the victim of a deceitful act by a Liberian con artist, leading to the loss of control over her social media accounts and a subsequent battle with depression. Born on November 16, 1980, in Njaaba, Olu, Imo State, Nigeria, Empress Njamah hails from a background rich in Nigerian and Cameroonian culture, with her parents being respected educators. She grew up alongside her twin brother, John Njamah, a renowned actor and director, and the siblings share a close bond, often appearing together at public events.
A graduate of English from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, Njamah’s educational pursuits have contributed to her articulate expressions and nuanced performances on screen. Her career began in 1995, and she quickly became known for her roles in films such as “Missing Angel” and “Liberian Girl.” Beyond acting, Njamah is a philanthropist, having established the House of Empress foundation, which supports children with special needs and celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2016.
