Mum-of-13-Kids Welcomes Quadruplets At Age 34
A Mum-of-13-children has welcomed quadruplets (four babies) at the age of 34 years.
The woman who already has 13 children just gave birth to four more babies (quadruplets).
The woman is a resident of Zaria in the Kaduna State of Nigeria. Mrs. Hauwa’u Sulaiman a housewife delivered her four babies at the Gambo Sawaba General Hospital, Kofar Gayan, Zaria on Friday 5th June 2020.
After giving birth, she and her babies were transferred to another hospital by name Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika to be given proper medical care as it wasn’t easy giving birth to the four children.
Dr. Isa Abdulkadir, the leading Consultant in the Pediatric Unit, ABUTH when speaking stated that the babies were in good condition and didn’t have any health problems.
Husband of the just delivered woman, Malam Sulaiman, who is a driver, thanked God for safely delivering his wife and children to him and also thanked both hospitals for the care given her wife when came to deliver.
According to the man, this is his wife’s 8th pregnancy. He explained that she had given birth to triplets twice, twins twice, single baby thrice and the current one is four babies.
When asked how he fed his children and wife he stated that it is his elder brother who assists him with the children’s welfare whenever the need arises.
Mrs. Hauwa’s mother, Mallama Saudatu Haruna said the occurrence is hereditary from their grandparents, as she too had given birth to twins thrice.
