Nigerian record label owner Don Jazzy has just signed talented fast-rising Afro-fusion star YXNG BOBBY to Mavins Records!
Don Jazzy linked up with Yxng Bobby a few years ago, and after discovering his potential, he decided to keep an eye on the superstar until 2024 when the young star dropped a massive hit record titled “B.B.L.” They signed a 360 deal which will last for a period of 10 years.
Wait, before congratulating the young star, we want to inform you that this information is not entirely true. While YXNG Bobby is indeed very talented and has been approached by Don Jazzy in the past after his viral freestyles and songs which he has been dropping since he was 12, they discussed the possibilities of him signing a record deal with Mavins. At that point, Don Jazzy had already signed artists under the label to cover the next 5 years. Don Baba advised Bobby to wait, but the young star has decided to pave his own path and is consistently building an audience for himself with his talent.
His latest song, “B.B.L.”, caught the attention of several top Nigerian celebrities, including MC Mbakara, and the young star is already planning to release another song on the 11th of April.
