Born on October 10, 1985, in Kano State, Nigeria, Godson hails from Imo State, which is located in the southeastern part of the country. He grew up in a vibrant environment that nurtured his early interest in the arts. Pursuing his passion, Godson attended the University of Jos, Plateau State, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Theater and Film Arts. His educational background laid a solid foundation for his subsequent foray into the world of acting and entertainment.

Godson’s career in Nollywood began in 2009, and since then, he has become renowned for his ability to bring characters to life, particularly in romantic roles. His breakout role came with the movie “7 Books of Moses,” produced by Richmond Ezihe in 2015, which catapulted him into the limelight. Over the years, Godson has appeared in over 100 films, sharing the screen with notable actors such as Pete Edochie, Clem Ohameze, Kenneth Okonkwo, Van Vicker, and John Dumelo.

His contributions to the industry have been significant, not only in terms of his performances but also through his work as a youth ambassador for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in 2015. In addition to his acting career, Godson is a savvy businessman, running an agro-processing and commodity trading company. Despite facing criticism in 2020 for his remarks during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, his achievements include a nomination for Best Actor in a Lead Role – English at the Best of Nollywood Awards in 2018, reflecting his dedication and talent in the acting sphere.
