The Igunnuko traditional worshippers in Ogun State have vowed that they would resist all attempts by the state government to coerce them into registering under the Alternative Medicine practice law.
This is just as the traditionalists also called on the state government to arrest and prosecute anyone, who goes about parading as the traditional ruler of Igunnuko religious worship in the state.
Speaking with journalists on Thursday in Abeokuta, the spokesman of the traditional religious worshippers, Chief Odunayo Osanyintolu said the warning became exigent in order to guide the state government appropriately from mistaking the Igunnuko traditional worshippers’ activities for alternative medicine business that required to be licensed.
