“Just being able to market myself well is amazing. When brands reach out to me be a brand ambassador or shoot adverts, we sign the necessary documents and stuff then we start. But then like 6 months into the contract, I’ll them and tell them how I want to do it and it always works out well. When Puma reached out to me to be their brand ambassador, I was never meant to have my own collection like my own designs. I was just supposed to just shoot commercials with their designs and post on social media. But then over time, I gave them the condition that they’ll have to work with my African fashion designers back home who have been making my clothes for years even before they recognized me. It was the hardwork of my African designers that made Puma recognize me.” Davido
